ICYMI: I have a new video out! It's about my favorite scene in the MCU -- but also a retrospective of Phases 1-3 and where I was at in life, how my relationship with these movies has changed, etc. 

It's a script that's been on my mind for *years* -- so it's different from what I'm interested in nowadays. But I'm very glad to have finally finished it. Hope you all get something meaningful out of it. :)

A bunch of my old footage from the PS4 just... vanished from my external hard drive. I don't know how. They were fine when I was editing the KH video a few days ago.

Nothing else in the hard drive seems to have changed. PS5 and Switch files are fine. Nothing's coming up on Windows Defender and I do not have the means to take this anywhere. Thankfully, I have some of the PS4 stuff backed up in older hard drives (unlabeled and unsorted, though) — but... I had multiple things on the fire and have lost an absurd amount of work. 

I don't know what's next right now. Sorry, y'all. I'm gonna need a bit to catch back up. 

Which of these would you be most likely to click? (Not necessarily what I'd use, but curious!) 

New video is taking a bit longer than expected. I have some guest VOs on this from creators I really admire -- so I wanna make sure to get it right. 

The upside: I've found more I want to say in it. I think it’s a nice full circle project on my first 2 years of doing these -- and I'm thinking of it as a "season finale" of sorts. 

Next video is my most personal one yet. I wrote it during a difficult time and made it a long while back for family/friends — but I'm making it public this week.

It's about grieving when living away from home, through games. 

It's heavy both in topic and in how much it's about me, so... there is no pressure to watch it if you prefer my lighter / more analytical stuff. Naturally, I'm a bit nervous about this one, but it's important to me. We'll return to our regularly scheduled programming shortly afterwards.

Thank you for sticking with me through '22! I'm really floored by the positive response to the NPC series -- and am psyched you all helped the channel grow wayyy faster than I'd anticipated. 

I'm optimistic about the year ahead. I've already put a big chunk of my backlog into production, so you can expect to see some new stuff soon. There’s some bigger videos in the pipeline too -- so if there's a gap, I am probably working on those.

We’re 25(!) subscribers away from hitting the big 1k, so if you want to share any of my stuff around now, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hello, hello!

First of all: Thank you all so much for getting me past the 500 subscriber threshold (and almost to 1000!). The NPC series did better than I could have hoped -- especially the KH3 segment -- and it still feels a bit surreal to have so many of you subscribed now. I am truly grateful, and honored even.

We now have access to Community posts, so I thought I'd put down some updates. :) 

* The next video is underway. I'm taking some time away from NPCs; although it's going to be a running series from now on, my main passion remains in doing longform essays, analyses, personal writing on games, etc. I'll have more updates soon -- but I'm getting to flex my creative muscles a bit with this next one. Which is nice!

* That being said: I've completed the game the next NPC video will likely be on. And I have a long list of notes ready to go.

(Maybe too early to say, but if you’ve watched the full NPC video you might know what game it's on).

* I also have three longer essays scripted out -- but between my day jobs and other projects, completing them does take a bit of time. What I might do is write some shorter scripts to fill the gaps. Again, more on that soon!
