It seems like every day some one tells me another person forgot to clip in and fell off the auto belays. I have been giving it a lot of thought but I think this is the best option. Suggest to your gym to add larger auto belay hangers. These hangers are so large they block off the starting holds making it way harder to start the climb unclipped. Complacency is one of the bigger dangers of climbing and effects the experienced the most. Stay sending safe out there friend! 🤙🏻 

One of the reasons I love climbing is it pulls you out of all life’s problems. You are forced to live in the moment and focus. Everyone is always going through something so I never like to talk about anything I’m going through. I want my content to also be a good escape from the day to day. However because whippie was apart of the channel I feel I have to let you all know, she past away last night in her sleep and well loved. She was a great dog and gave us an amazing 12 years of adventure. You can catch her in a few episodes like her “how to make a dog harness”. Thank you all for the continued support, means more than you know! 🤙🏻 

Had a bit of a close call this week! While working I lifted my welding mask to inspect my weld. With my mask up my grinder went off accidentally and I caught a piece of metal in my eye. You can see a block of light in the top right corner. The bottom image is my eye healing up. I’ll make a full recovery. 👍🏻 I’ll be wearing glasses under my mask from now on. 

If you plan on doing some aid climbing and beating metal and rocks, please wear some glasses your vision is precious! I might even be wearing a cool pair of sun glasses now when belaying, catching a rock in the eye wouldn’t be fun. Stay safe and sendy everyone. 🤙🏻
