The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action is a network of organizations and individuals who are working towards protection of children in humanitarian settings. Through inter-agency collaboration, the Alliance produces technical guidelines and standards to help child protection actors in humanitarian settings better protect children from harm. We define child protection as the "prevention and response to abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence against children in times of emergency caused by natural or manmade disasters, conflicts, or other crises."
