Speak No Evil is a tense psychological thriller that builds suspense through subtle character dynamics and an eerie atmosphere. While the film does feature a coming-of-age subplot, it isn’t the main focus. The story follows an American family visiting a remote British home, gradually revealing darker truths. The coming-of-age elements add depth but take a backseat to exploring trauma and its impact. I’m sharing my thoughts here since it's not predominantly a coming-of-age film, yet it is one I highly recommend!

Found (2012) - While the film attempts to create an unsettling atmosphere through its rough aesthetic and focus on psychological elements, it ultimately crosses a line into gratuitous graphic content, which led me to discontinue my viewing. It's a bold experiment that may prove too disturbing - I will not be reviewing the film aside from this short post.

I attempted to watch Reuber (2013), but I couldn’t make it through. The film felt overly ridiculous—from how the story is told to the narrative structure and the acting—almost like a theatrical circus. Every actor seems to overact deliberately, which I assume is intentional. I understand the goal was to create a twisted modern fairy tale, but I suspect I’d need to drastically alter my mind to truly appreciate or enjoy it.

That said, the cinematography had its moments. Some scenes, particularly those showcasing nature—the sun filtering through the trees, for example—were undeniably beautiful. However, beyond this brief post, I won’t be reviewing the film any further.

I just finished watching Last Cowboy Standing. As soon as the film started, I realized I had seen it before—but I must have forgotten the title. I decided to watch it again anyway and took some notes. However, at some point, I lost interest, which is unusual for me since I generally enjoy Scandinavian cinema. The film fits within the coming-of-age genre, yet I found it challenging to connect with or care about any of the characters. So, I won't be reviewing the film aside from this note. / Georgi/
