‘Immang Lédu!' Curious about its meaning, isn’t it? Here Immang means Dream, Lédu means pursue or stalk. In my context, Immang Lédu refers to 'Pursuing of Dream'. Born to my wrinkled parents as their first child and the first one to taste the flavour of modern education in my family while at the same time I remained unperturbed and deeply rooted in traditional pride. I have spent my entire youthful student life in keeping balance between modernity and tradition. During Lower Primary level I had to divide the day into two halves. First half would be from morning to till 2 pm which was spent in school. Later, after the school, the other half of the day was to accompany the parents to jhum field, engage in all sorts of works. Amidst all adverse circumstances, I had always seen a dream which was hard to die out. In my dream, I saw poor people like me living contented and happily smiling. Till today I could not find the reasons for their happiness. So, I am still pursuing that dream.
