https://youtu.be/uUkJKb2sVeY 👉 In Germany, We Don't Say...
Does that sound familiar at all? 😁 It's Liam Carpenter's ( ‪@liamcarps‬ ) signature phrase in his comedy sketches about German quirks that he posts on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube! A lot of you guys requested him as a podcast guest and well... we listened and has a super interesting conversation with Liam! :) He told us all about how he went from the basketball court to social media and which of the German stereotypes that he usually makes fun of, he's actually adopted into his own life!

*NO EPISODE THIS WEEK*
Hey guys! Unfortunately, we didn't get to record a new episode for you this week (due to the time issue we mentioned last time) and I'll actually be on vacation next week so the next episode will come out in 2 weeks. Thank you for all of your kind comments and messages in response to last week's announcement about the upcoming end of the podcast. We're just as sad as you are but we do still have a few cool episodes planned! :) You guys had a lot of suggestions for guests so we're going to try and make those happen.

And for two topics, we're actually still looking for guests:

1. We'd love to talk about differences in the application and recruitment process in Germany vs. the US and invite two people to the podcast who work in Human Resources in Germany and the US, respectively. If that's you or you know someone who would be a good fit for this, please shoot us an email at understandingtrainstation@gmail.com!

2. One of our viewers suggested to talk about American military families/military brats and we think that’s a fascinating topic. Did any of you grow up in a military family or do you know someone who did and who would be willing to tell us about their experience on the podcast? Shoot us an email!

Thank you so much for your ongoing support! 😊

-Feli

P.S. I also uploaded this as an audio statement to Spotify and the other audio streaming platforms.

NEW EPISODE IS OUT! 🥳 https://youtu.be/or-Bqk7QGbc
Who remembers when we had Josh's German teacher on the podcast? 🤔 This week, we're having a full circle moment as we got to talk to Christine's daughter Lena who grew up in Ohio in a fully German family. She was so much fun to talk to so definitely make sure to check out the episode here on YouTube or on your favorite audio-streaming platform! :)

This one is somewhat of a special episode because we went out onto the streets of Munich and asked people the questions that you guys submitted on Instagram! So make sure to check it out here on YouTube or on your preferred audio platform! We hope you enjoy it. :)
