HAURVATAT Film was founded in 2010 by Iman Tahsin and Sara Nasrabadi as a privately-financed production company in Tehran / Iran, implementing independent film production practices in Iranian film industry.

It has produced a variety of short films, feature films, and documentaries thus far and has won several domestic and international awards for its productions over the years, as well as plenty of achievements in its collaborative projects.

Since 2017, HAURVATAT Film has relocated all of its business to Istanbul, Turkey, aiming to gain more proximity to Europe and act as a gateway between the East and the West.

HAURVATAT Film strives to produce films in a wide variety of genres and budgets, with its main focus on feature films and documentaries.
