The 360in360 Transmedia Storytelling Channel seeks to explore and promote the concept of telling stories using 360 degree video and virtual reality clips within a maximum of 360 seconds. The aim of this channel is to show examples of 360in360 videos and narratives created to demonstrate the potential of 360 video and transmedia storytelling not only for sharing experiences and memories in richer ways, but also as an educational tool that can be used across a wide variety of learning environments to encourage creative use of technology and exploration of stories and environments. The tools to create 360in360 video narratives are increasingly affordable for individuals, schools and businesses and although there are limitations in the state of the art today (Feb 2017) that affect the quality of the experience e.g. broadband and wireless streaming bandwidths and the resolution of video, the limitations will soon fade.
