Have you seen these yet? Are you confused by compression? Unsure of when and where to use EQ in your mixes? Struggling to shape your reverbs to sound natural? I've put together six videos for you. Each one goes over a different plugin/effect - EQ, compression, reverb, delay, gate and limiting. If you're learning how to mix, it's important that you understand exactly how to use the essential tools at your disposal. So that when it comes to making decisions in your mix, it's all about your ear, and not the technicalities of using the tools. These six videos dropped throughout 2021. And starting from next week, I'll be sharing three more new ones with you, that go over saturation, multiband compression and de-essing. Multiband compression in particular is one that's been requested. Learning the basics of EQ and compression is particularly important for understanding multiband compression and de-essing, so I recommend checking out at least those two. And if you've seen them already, it's worth getting a refresher 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
