Srila Prabhupada advises all of his followers to read his books daily as far as possible and try to understand the subject matter from different angles of vision by discussing it frequently with other devotees. In this way one will gradually become convinced, and by such sincere attitude and devotional service, one will make spiritual progress . The Vedas prescribe the Supreme Lord to be the ultimate goal, by establishing bhakti onto His lotus feet as the necessary means. Because bhakti is not different from His svarüpa. Thus, the intended meaning of the Vedas is, “The final goal of sacrifices and other actions is to produce bhakti for Him.” This subject matter is very nicely presented in both Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and Bhagavad-Gīta. Hear is a small attempt to understand the same.
