Towards a sustainable life of resilience and abundance.
Ladia and Amy were both living in the city and realised that it was not a fulfilling life. When Ladia arrived at the old tea processing site in Lenggong, he found paradise.
In order to co-exist with this paradise, Permaculture Perak was born. For 11 years since 2008, Permaculture Perak was the pioneering sustainable living education centre that made a long-lasting impact of many people’s lives from immersing themselves in nature’s classroom.
It was featured in National Geographic documentary, "Living Free with Kimi Werner." Sadly, it had to shut down after an unavoidable land eviction by the state government.
We arrived at a new land and started doing what we did best - set up a sustainable home and farm from scratch.
Today Tigabiri continues its journey from Permaculture Perak in the spirit of empowering change with farming, resiliency and sustainability skills, through the sharing of knowledge and experiences.
