This is Brian silweyz urban spoken word artist|HRD In my community there's poor road nextwork that has caused increased road accidents leading to death. Corruption is deeply rooted as traffic police officers are accustomed to taking bribes. Due to unemployment crime has scaled up. There are rising cases of school drop outs due to lack of school fees and other important social amenities such as sanitary pads and proper feeding programme in schools. Drug abuse has seen increase in cases of rape and other Gender based violence cases. Bad governance has contributed to youth stereotype that has seen rise of extra judicial killings that I have highlighted on the video The solution is using art in setting the agenda that is focused on eradicating poverty, defending democracy, shunning bad governance and promoting accountability through art, specifically spoken word. Through poetry, we shall start the conversation and focus on changing the mindset of both the right holders and the duty bearers
