Hi everyone! My name is Lynn, and I garden in Central Texas, USDA Zone 8b. Our property is part of what we call a "rural burb", in Texas Hill Country. This is the fourth garden that I have started from square one and my first in the South. Although I have been gardening for many years, my journey gardening in Central Texas Zone 8b began in 2019. I have learned a lot about the soil, climate, and so many other factors that heavily impact successfully growing plants here. I created this channel to take you along with me as I go from a property nothing but dirt, a plethora of weeds, and about twenty-one Texas Live Oaks, to hopefully the garden of my dreams. I will share a lot of what I have learned, as well as information specific to my climate. I hope everyone following along as I journey through my new space, will find something useful for their gardening journey! Welcome to my Garden!!!
