👨🌾 Educating you to succeed in growing food 🥕 Hey y’all my name is Dirk Tanner with Tanner Farmstead. I started growing food back in 2019 when I fell in love with this dream of having an abundant garden and homestead. I actually started by growing microgreens in a tiny apartment that my wife and I were living in at the time in Denver, CO. We didn't have the space for much else, so I rented a little garden plot at a community garden nearby which is where I fell in love with having my hands in the soil. Fast forward 5 years later and we now have our dream homestead back in our home state of Arkansas which is where my wife and I are originally from. Believe it or not I didn't grow up on a farm or around agriculture. I grew up in the suburbs like many other people and learned the skills needed to grow food over time.
