DAY 17 of Our KUBO Build seen Our Door Frame Being Custom made along with taking a shower at a well because our running water had stopped!

I had Sambong (stuffing balls) for lunch Which were beautiful & more of the Framework was done on the front of the kubo!

Was a tough yet productive day!  #Philippines    #building   #kubo 

Day 16 of Building A Kubo in the Philippines seen us starting the walls of the kubo including installing our window!

We also picked some fresh talong and Ann Prepared me a gorgeous lunch of Egg, potatoes & Rice which was beautiful.

Also got some termite protection on some of the lumber for the walls too! 🇵🇭 

This was the Sights I was seeing After a TYPHOON as I was travelling to Puerto princesa City to Renew my Visa.

I had heard about a van falling off into the water where there were only a few who Survived.

I'm pretty sure it was this van which just so happened to be getting pulled away by a tractor as our bus was driving past a few days later! (What are the odds of that?)

There was also a landslide and other reckage along the way, some that I didn't get on camera too! 

So Although This Day wasn't Technicaly Valentines day It was within the Week haha. ❤️

Merry Ann D. Chavez and I were in the city Renewing my Visa and this happens to be in the same Robinsons where we first met up After Chatting Online! 

I was having trouble finding her so while on the phone she was telling me "I'm at the HandyMan"

This was my first time in Robinsons and I EVENTUALLY found her & Today We Revisited Our first meet up spot but instead of Chaolong We Opted for a Romantic Lunch For Two On A rainy afternoon at Jollibee! ❤️🇵🇭

Today Ann's Brother strapped the Go pro on Himself & harvested some coconut/Buko from the tree!

We also were given by him some Crab he caught and were able to make a lovely cold Buko Drink with freshly made ice too!

As a singer to be gifted a Karaoke Machine means a lot and better still I can plug my Acoustic Guitar into it and get a cool Echo sound which sounds beautiful.

Day 14 Building my Kubo came with lots of Easter eggs!

Like having torta talong and fish for lunch Which was delicious along with cutting down a banana tree!

The Kubo saw great progress with the concrete floor Finally being Poured and now we have to wait a long while for it to dry!

I was also sent an Ice maker by one of you Guys who doesn't want to be named but thank you so much for this as it will come in handy when I'm craving a cold drink!

At the End of the day My Friend Ato did 50 laps of the Running straight that my MAX to date has been 30!

I promised him a new pair of red running shoes from lazada if he was Able to do 50 so they are still being shipped...WELL DONE ATO! ❤️🇵🇭 

Day 13 Of Our KUBO Build went very well! 

There was also a caribou ploughing the field today & along with this our flooring took a great step forward towards being made.

I had some leftover micky noodles for breakfast & Sitaw for lunch and the animals all seemed happy too! ❤️🇵🇭 

DAY 12 Of Our KUBO Build showed signs of real progress towards the Raised Cement flooring!

A package also arrived From one of you Guys who wishes to Remain Anonymous so thank you very Much for Our New High Quality Towels!

We also Painted our Internal wood with some anti Bok Bok/Termite Woodwax which Our Carpenter Recommended we do.

We shared some nice Fish Sinigang Caught by Ann's Brother Ton Ton for Lunch! ❤️🇵🇭  #Philippines   #homebuilding 

I LOVE DAYS Like this in the Philippines where none of it was planned!

We ate beautiful food at the Market along with freshly caught fish by Ann's Big Brother while her Younger Brother supplied the oil & Cola for us all!

On the way to the Shop we seen Kids Playing in the puddle creating long lasting memories for when they Grow up and perhaps move to the city!

A Day like this also wouldn't be complete without ice cream & giving the pet dogs a bath 😊🇵🇭❤️
