Happy New Years folks! God help us all, this year seems like it's gonna be a rough one. 

When it comes to the latest Helldivers 2 controversy, I'll give Arrowhead credit. I think giving the second wave of the crossover content for free was a good way to patch things up. It was still a very greedy decision that deserved to be called out. But it seems there's now some fencing on the slope. So I see no reason to stay upset.

I just wish the game wasn't in this constant loop of being amazing and being messed up by their latest terrible decision. When thing are going well, it's truly a phenomenal game. Arrowhead is just addicted to bad ideas. 

And they have already gotten massively greedy. That wasn't a slippery slope, that was an icy cliff. What do you think of multiple new primaries being in the rotating premium store for massive price tags? 

Helldivers players will twist themselves into knots explaining how a unique weapon only available on rotation in the super store for premium currency isn't FOMO. 

It's a good game but jesus, you try to and even slightly comment on the monetization and they get the pitchforks. 

Baldur's Gate 3 is adding twelve, TWELVE, new subclasses. God Larian truly do spoil us don't they. Which are you most hyped for? Between Martials, Gishes, and Casters.

Veilguard is Steam's top selling game right now. But "go woke go broke" sure lmao. 

In Video Essays, which do you prefer? Obviously it depends on the scene, but generally speaking which approach do you think is better. 

Last post about these idiots, I promise, but I need to mention this absurdity. My reddit account got banned because I called one of those people complaining about Dragon Age going woke: an idiot the with media comprehension of a second grader. Gotta love how these people who will whine about cancel culture, say that people are too soft, and that "nothing should be off limits" get upset when you throw a basic insult their way.

And of course any comments I report which are venomously hateful or straight up contain slurs are found to "not break TOS." 

Do you think that the Asmongold, MauLer, Geeks + Gamers sort actively make their viewers dumber, or do they just mainly attract complete and total morons. 

Recently I've seen a lot of complaining from their fans that Dragon Age has gone woke. DRAGON AGE! I'd say that Origins and 2 were the queerest AAA games of their time. It has always been a series that is very progressive, with systemic injustice and the unfair status quo being major aspects of the plots.

I genuinely cannot fathom being so dense that you miss that.
