Welcome to the Climate Corner, where you can find interesting and easy to understand information about climate change, its impacts and the many solutions that are already available. I'm your host, Dr. Sara Via, Professor & Climate Extension Specialist at the University of Maryland College Park. I've spent years teaching biology to college students and figuring out how to explain complicated scientific topics in ways that are clear, interesting, and make sense to pretty much everyone. Now I'm applying what I've learned to teach people outside the University about climate change and related problems.
