Thank you so much for your patience. As promised, I’m sharing close up images of our new banner! I’m so thrilled to have finished it. To be honest, I didn’t think I’d pull it off at all, hehe! 🥴🦭
It’s been ages since I last drew anything, and this might be the first formal piece I’ve ever completed on an iPad. The project started like approximately 3 months ago when I decided to create a cozy and welcoming banner to represent our little cozy corner. 💻🌳🦭✨ While it’s not perfect, I originally aimed for more depth, warmer tones, and richer shadows, but I’m still very satisfied with how it turned out! ☺️🦭
I also considered that if I made the colors too warm, anyone using a blue light filter on their device might see it as overly orange. So, for now, I think it’s a nice balance. Of course, if I find ways to improve it in the future, I’ll be sure to update it, hehe! 🖌️🦭🎨
I did not include the lovely portrait my dear friend Amanda made me 😔🦭, as I deeply respect the love and care she poured into creating it. I simply cannot replicate a piece of art that already holds so much meaning and heart. 🌟☺️🦭
The process was quite long since I only had a few hours each week to work on it. Oh, and my iPad is over six years old, so Adobe Fresco kept crashing every 30 minutes of drawing.🫠🦭 It was stressful, but it didn’t discourage me at all! 😌🦭 I started using pixels, but when I tested the banner on a secondary YouTube account, it looked a bit pixelated, it was simply not as clean as I intended it to be. That’s when I discovered Adobe Fresco’s awesome vector feature which allows you to draw, and not just create shapes! 🖌️😃🦭
If you’re unfamiliar with vectors, they’re shapes defined mathematically, so you can resize them infinitely without losing quality or creating pixelation (blurriness). It was a game changer for me! That said, your silly friend here forgot about using the magic wand tool (which I rarely used on Photoshop), which could have saved me time by duplicating repetitive shapes like leaves. 🤪🦭 I ended up drawing most of them by hand. Thankfully, I eventually remembered the tool just in time to draw elements like the desk, shelf, vines, coffee mug, and laptop. Otherwise, I might still be working on this today, hehe! 😅🦭

Fun Facts About the Banner 😃🦭🌌
- The blanket you’ve seen me use on camera is featured here, but my actual favorite color is the shade of my scarf in the banner. It’s close to periwinkle, a soft blue with a hint of purple, but I haven’t pinned down its exact name yet! 🧣🦭🟦
- I almost skipped the laptop because I thought it’d be tricky to draw the wallpaper I usually use. Since I change my wallpaper every couple of months, I went with a simple green olive tone instead. It complements the greenery in the banner, is minimalist, and doesn’t overpower the design. 💻🦭✨
- Even though my tree has artificial brown moss, I thought it would look better as green in the banner. Now, I’m considering adding some green moss to the actual tree to match the banner, hehe! 🌳🦭✨

As with previous posts, feel free to use any of the images I share here as wallpapers, I don’t mind at all! However, I don’t think screenshots from here will provide the best quality, especially if you plan to use them on larger screens. So, if at least one person is interested in using my banner as a wallpaper, please let me know! I’ll do some research on where I can share the image with a high-resolution version that works perfectly for your computer or mobile device, hehe! 💻😉🦭✨ (Remember, if you’re viewing this post on a mobile device, you can click on the images to expand them and see the full details. However, I’ve noticed that on a laptop or desktop, the images don’t expand properly for some reason.)

Temporary Update as the creator of Arpoe:I think it’s the weather or something, but I came down with a throat infection this week. 🥴🦭Thankfully, it’s been mild. And don’t worry, I’ve been drinking plenty of warm tea to keep the coughing at bay! Therefore, I’ll be recording today and do my best to edit on Saturday, but the video might not go up until Sunday. I wanted to share a little sneak peek of our new channel banner. ☺️🦭 I just couldn’t resist giving you a glimpse before posting it soon (Actually, I've been resisting so much from sharing since I started it, haha!).😄🦭  It’s been quite a few months since I started working on this! I’m not a professional artist, but I know a thing or two about drawing animations. 🖌️🦭
Fun fact: many of you might not know this (and I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned it before, sorry if I haven’t!), but before Arpoe came to life, I worked on a few animated videos of another character years ago. That said, animation is definitely a lot of work, and I don’t feel I’m talented enough to run a full animation focused channel, hehe! But it's possible a dear friend and I might be working on a small unique animated video of Arpoe in the future for a special ocasion. 😉🦭✨
Thank you so much for your patience, this is one of the biggest updates I've been working on, aside from adding subtitles. The other updates are smaller, but I hope they'll enhance the experience and vibe of this cozy corner. I hope you’ll enjoy the new banner, which should be ready in just a few days (hopefully tomorrow). I’ll also be sharing some closeups of the artwork here so you can see the details more clearly.
It might not be perfect, but it’s the best I can do, 😄🦭 and I feel really happy with how it’s turned out! I might make some small adjustments to the colors or drawing depending on how it resonates with the overall channel aesthetic. I've always felt the current blue banner is too bright, it's atually a blurry image of some mountains I found on Google a long time ago. I hope the colors will feel cozy and warm for your eyes, whether your screen uses a blue light filter or not. ☺️🦭
Right now, I’m doing some final checks, erasing small color marks I might have left behind and adding a few little details. I’ll post a full update on the process here soon, so stay tuned! 🙏🦭💙 

🎃Happy Halloween, my wonderful friend! 👻 I hope you're having a cozy, spooky day!
As promised, I wanted to share a little story behind the inspiration for Duby the ghost. Duby was actually the name of a very special dog who marked my childhood in the best way. Every dog is, of course, incredibly special, but sometimes there's that one friend who makes a unique impact on your life. For me, that was Duby.🦮

Speaking as the creator of Arpoe, Duby came into our lives when I was around 6 years old, thanks to a friend of my mom's who was looking for homes for a litter of puppies. Duby and I quickly became inseparable. He was a white dog with black spots, he looked similar to a Dalmatian, but was a mixed breed and about the size of a Golden Retriever. Sadly, over the years, I've started to forget some of his features, which is why I couldn't add his signature spots to the ghost costume. 😔
My parents have tons of photo albums from that time, many taken with film cameras that use rolls of film you have to develop to see the pictures. We're pretty sure there are pictures of Duby somewhere, but we haven't found any yet! My mom said if we can't locate them, we might need to re-develop some of the film rolls (if they're still intact). It would be amazing to have those memories back in a way I could see, and share them here with you as well, but in the meantime, this Halloween video is my way of honoring his memory and celebrating the beautiful impact he had on my life. Even if I'm starting to forget some details, I'll never forget how he made my childhood brighter, and I'll always be grateful for that. 🦮✨

If you're unfamiliar with Day of the Dead, I'd definitely recommend watching the movie Coco (2017), it's such a great introduction to this amazing celebration! P.S. Fun fact, as a kid, I was a big fan of Scooby-Doo, and that's actually where Duby's name came from! My mom chose the name because of my Scooby-Doo obsession, but somehow, I didn't make the connection until recently! (To be fair, I wasn't exactly the sharpest kid back then, haha!) And funny enough, I always thought his name was spelled "Dubi", but I figured Duby was more grammatically correct. When I recently asked my mom about how he got his name and how he came into our lives, I was completely surprised to hear the full story! I told her about the name, and she said that she does prefer the spelling "Duby", and that after all, he really was my dog, especially with the special friendship we had. ❤️🦮

I'm so sorry I haven't been very active here. 😟🦭 I've been quite busy with work and preparing new things for the channel. Although I want to keep the my costume a surprise, let me just say, you're probably not going to be too surprised. 😅🦭 It's a common Halloween costume, but I wanted to keep it simple this year, hehe! ☺️🦭

I'm back on Instagram and Twitter, but if you're not using those platforms, that's perfectly fine. Like I said before, you're not missing much, I'm just posting my thumbnail pictures and a few new pictures like the one below. YouTube will always have the exclusive first, hehe! 😉🦭 

Oh, on another note, the Halloween video will be coming this weekend, but it'll be a bit later than my usual upload time. 😔🦭 And sadly, even though I'd really like to, I won't be uploading a new video the following weekend. Due to time constraints, I've been having trouble making significant progress on the small projects I'm working on for the channel. I think it's a good idea to focus on finishing those sooner, so I can get back to creating new content and incorporating steady but surely all the wonderful suggestions I've received from you, my amazing friends!

I've been quite busy these past 2 weeks, therefore I haven't been very active on my social media accounts and I apologize for that. 😟🦭

I forgot to post the final result from the last Tsuki's Treehouse video I did, I ended up putting the kitchen and the living room on opposite sides, I hope it looks nicer, though I'm open to suggestions! So here is the final result, remember, feel free to use it as wallpaper if you'd like as well as the other ones I posted before. I sometimes use them as well, that's why I mention it. 😉🦭
Lastly, like I mentioned above I have been quite busy and this week I am definitely uploading a video, though I still haven't confirmed if I will be able to upload it on Friday night/ Saturday morning as I regularly do, and it might be until probably late Sunday evening, so please be patient with me.☺️🦭 I don't have a set upload time, but I will always try my best to upload a new video every week! I'm not that very good at taking selfies, so I hope you don't mind my weird face. 🙃🦭
I'm sorry I haven't been very active in this section, I want to share interesting things here, and most of the times I'm just... very boring, hehe! 😄🦭
One thing I noticed though, is that I think I haven't shown you a part of the cozy corner that I use for most of the videos. So I'll show you today! The 📷 camera I use does that bokeh effect in my videos, and sadly the model I have (Lumix G85) has a very slow focus feature, so I always lock in the focus to avoid my face being blurry most of the times. 🫨🦭
Maybe I just need to learn a bit more on how to use that feature, I'll still keep trying though. 🧐🦭

I sadly can't have any plants where I currently live because they just can't grow. The room has only one window and silly enough the view is to a hallway 🫠🦭, so not much sunlight to be able to have plants. It's a bummer, but as soon as I move, I'll make sure to get lots of plants, and a room with big windows 😅🦭. So for now, I have these fake plants, which I like a lot. They make the place look really nice, at least to me, hehe! ☺️🦭

So, the shelves or however they're called I crafted myself, just some wooden planks and some plastic pipes with a bit of black paint, some tabletop cover and, voilà. The majority of things I got from Amazon or Ebay, I hardly go to stores because people still get surprised to see a seal up and about. But really, everything is now easily bought online, and that amazes me. 😧🦭
On the shelf, I have my precious drawing one of you kind humans gifted me, thank you Amanda 💙🦭. Next to it, is the current digital camera I use for my videos which I already mentioned and the plants are from AliExpress, some I put together, but still AliExpress is a cool treasure trove for me.  
The Lamp is from Amazon, I got it at a good deal, I love its minimalist design. 
Lastly, the deer, which is actually a Pokémon called Xerneas, second hand from Ebay. It's my favorite pokemon due to its design! I just find him very appealing, I don't have anything else to put on my shelf for now, so since it looks elegant to me, I thought it could be a nice fun contrast , hehe. ☺️🦭
Oh and the guitar, it was a gift but I can't play! My paws are just too small. 😞🦭 So I ask my human friends to play the guitar for me when they visit. 🎸 🦭🎶🎵

I might make some changes in the future, but for now I'm very happy with how everything looks. It was a bit hard putting everything together, mostly with these clumsy paws, but I feel proud of the results.

Hey there, sorry for not updating sooner. So, this is a screenshot of Chi's house decor from my last video. Changes are minor like moving the desk workspace a bit to the left. I added a small wall light behind the left book shelf of the desk workspace for better lighting and moved Chi's lounge chair including the lamp. Well, in the video I was going to match the wooden floors from the two that were shown, but I forgot😅🦭 . So now these are both options light or dark wood, and it's taking me a bit to decide, but I guess both would be fine, what do you think? I am happy many enjoyed my video, I was intending for it to be cozy and relaxing, since I sometimes play this game before sleeping, it just sets me in the mood for good night sleep. Also, fun fact, I sometimes use Mushroom village locations as wallpapers, so feel free to use any of these in case you like them. Comment any idea or suggestion, I'm always welcoming any new changes.
Just like I mentioned in the video, I don't want to solely focus on video games, but if they're cozy and there's a way to mix it with asmr then I will be happy to bring more in the near future. Also Tsuki's house is pending, its a beautiful treehouse and can't wait for you to see, but I need a bit more time to prepare.

Hello there, human behind Arpoe here. I just wanted to share a very old picture from 2015, from the beginning of Arpoe, that didn't make it to Youtube as far as I can rememeber, It's been a very long time.

I am currently decluttering my files to make space and came across a few old pictures I'd like to share in the future as easter eggs or something hehe. Also, some might still be wondering if Arpoe is a polar bear, but he's not, he's actually a harp seal pup. I will include more of his  backstory in future posts and videos, I promise. 

The second picture is the second version of Arpoe that has been the main one up until now. I just wanted to share to have a record of how much has changed, and I will cherish this forever. Feel free to ask anything regarding Arpoe. I might not be able to deliver the full backstory yet, but I will respond to the extent possible.
