I have wanted to convert a car that runs on gas into an EV for a long time. The 1971 Super Beetle was a great choice for my first project. The simplicity of the VW Beetle makes it easy to repair/upgrade and of course parts are cheap and easy to fiind for it. When you tell people you are converting a VW Beetle everyone has a story of someone they know that has owned a Beetle. I hope you enjoy watching the process of converting it to an EV!
