This channel is run by Syed Bilal Ali Nizami who is the direct descendant of Hazrat Nizamuudin Aulia (R.A.). He is the caretaker at Dargah. This channel will share all relevant information about the dargah & we will share Mehfil e Sama (qawalis). Hazrat Amir Khusro, the poet was his dearest follower and very close to him. Hazrat Nizamuddin was ecstatic listening to Hazrat Amir Khusro praising the lord, who in turn loved and was deeply devoted to his mentor. Hazrat Amir Khusro wrote in a simple style in the language of ordinary people, loaded with mystical meaning, the qawali. Sama or a music concert where people from different walks of life come and listen, was a regular feature at Hazrat Nizamuddin’s courtyard. He felt that the joy from Sama cured all anxiety. Sama was spiritual nourishment and from the heart. This tradition continues till today at the Dargah Sharif. Sufism means love. & the title of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia as ‘Mehboobe-e-Elahi’ means ‘The beloved of Allah.’
