The Official Channel of the AUB Classical Music Club AUB Classical Music Club: Who are we? We are a group of enthusiasts who share a common interest in Classical Music. Our mission is to spread Classical Music culture and promote its appreciation as an art form. Our Club also brings together musicians who wish to perform in front of audiences, and has so far organized 35 recitals and concerts, seven of which were held outside AUB. We believe music is not merely background noise; it's an art form. We hold that understanding music as a language offers tremendous value, allowing us to contemplate and reflect on the human condition. By cultivating attentive listeners, we can discern meaning and intent that express a vast range of ideas and emotions. The AUB Classical Music Club challenges the notion that classical music is a foreign art form in Lebanon. We recognize its rich local tradition of teaching, performance, and composition.
