During the past years, artist David Weber-Krebs and theoretician/dramaturge Jeroen Peeters have been developing the project On Enclosed Spaces and the Great Outdoors. It addresses the question how the arts (its questions, forms, research and discourses) are challenged by climate change. So far, it’s taken on the form of a performative conference that had two editions, the first one with a focus on participation of non-human actors in the theatre (Amsterdam 2015), the second one on the impact of the anthropocene on our sensorium (Brussels, 2018).
