Don't worry guys I am still a basketball content creator too lol. Was looking forward to some new 2024-25 basketball this week, but unfortunately Prizm Draft Picks FOTL hasn't shipped out yet from Panini even though regular hobby has officially released today. Also we're getting like 5 inches of snow and ice down South which is the equivalent of 500 inches up North so who knows when I'll actually get those boxes delivered (hopefully early next week). Should have a new football video out later today in the meantime. Have an awesome weekend and stay safe out there if you're local!

2024 Donruss Optic Football Blasters and Mega Boxes are up for presale on DSG. Fair warning these won’t ship for a very very VERY long time, until well after every other retailer has released them, but this can be a decent way to secure these elusive products. They will be extremely hard to get from Target and Walmart as they always sell out instantly so it may be worth it for Optic. Downside here is you’ll probably have to wait till June to actually get this stuff from DSG. They also no longer charge upon shipping so funds will be withdrawn immediately which means you’ll be giving them an interest free loan for half a year.

Hey guys! For my football folks, Bowman U Chrome Football Hobby and Jumbo box preorders release tomorrow 10/29 at 12pm EST on Topps' website  https://www.topps.com/pages/bowman-university-chrome-football  Hobby is $130 with 2 autographs and Jumbo Hobby is $200 with 3 autographs. Just in case anyone was interested in buying these and not sure which one is better, I took a quick look at the odds sheet provided by Topps to get a rough estimate. Tomorrow will probably be the cheapest prices available so these numbers may only be good until preorders sell out, but the spreadsheet image details essentially how much it would cost to pull each parallel from both box formats using the price per pack and the listed odds/pack for each parallel. These are just the base set parallels, but looks like regular hobby is the better option almost all across the board throughout the entire checklist except when it comes to pulling shimmer parallels/autos or a couple of random superfractor inserts. You can take a look at the odds yourself if you want to, but you're basically paying 3.08 times as much per pack in a jumbo hobby box vs. a regular hobby box so if the listed odds of pulling a certain card from a jumbo hobby box pack are not 3.08 times better, then it's not worth it. I'm personally getting 1 or 2 regular hobby boxes assuming I don't forget about this drop and also assuming I still feel like buying college football this year in about 12 hours.
