Gig Workers Association (GigWA) is an all India network of platform based gig and digital platform workers working for platforms and apps like Amazon, Flipkart, Ola ,Uber, Zepto, Radipo, Blinkit, Dunzo, Urban Company, Yes Madam, Instamart etc. Taking initiatives at the national and state levels in the 34 cities of India for organizing platform-based gig workers, GigWA in collaboration with unions is campaigning for securing comprehensive social protection of platform based gig workers through state and central level legislations while securing large scale registration in the state and central level social security schemes. Working closely with all the stakeholders, we have been endeavouring for secure best in for all from the perspective of gig and platform workers since without workers, there can not be any digital platforms and vice versa. Organic happiness for security for all in order to generate abundance for all in the platform economy is the call that we attend. Cheers!
