MATH+ is a Berlin-based Cluster of Excellence that aims to develop new approaches in application-oriented mathematics. It is an interdisciplinary research center focused on utilizing mathematical principles to address vast datasets across diverse fields including life and material sciences, energy and network research, as well as humanities and social sciences. Jointly operated by three Berlin universities (FU, HU, and TU) and two research institutes (WIAS and ZIB), MATH+ is dedicated to advancing mathematics and its interdisciplinary power to tackle significant challenges spanning sustainable energy, individualized medicine, analyzing and understanding social processes, and more.
