The word luxury gets thrown around a lot, especially in van life and tiny home world. So I ask, what makes a van or tiny home luxury? Remember just because something looks pretty doesn’t mean it’s good quality or durable. I also didn’t include ‘all of the above’ for a reason because yes all of those would be luxury. I’m asking what one thing stands out most in “luxury”
Aesthetics/Look
Products and/or Systems
Materials like wood, metal, hardware
Type of manufacturer

Personally I’ve been unhappy with my content the last few months. Mostly due to overworking on building my tiny home. The home is nearly complete and will be moving it to my property end of this month (August 2023). I’m very excited to get back into better vlogs, I’m vamping up my tours, more travel, new builds like development of my property and a truck build. GHOST Design & Build will also be started with a shop space and focusing a lot on small space design and helping others. Lastly, I have a new podcast coming that I’m not going to hold back, much like I didn’t hold back when talking what vans are worth. For those that stuck with me this year, thank you! For those new comers, welcome and everyone is in for a wild upcoming ride

Hey everyone! I've said many times on this channel that I don't build for client. At this point I still plan on not doing that for various reasons, but everything I do build (vans, tiny homes, container home, epoxy tables, furniture, etc.) will all be done by GHOST Design and Build. My personal brand will always be "Jarrod Tocci" and I've recently updated my logo as well. The "GHOST" theme will always be part of everything I do as that is where I started and I'll never forget where I came from. I'll have all new merch coming VERY soon with the original GHOST logo, as well as new designs and more products. I plan on creating much more short form content that I'll share on stories and shorts but as I've said many many times, I'm a one man wrecking crew over here so it's a lot of work to create content and build stuff. I'm fully prepping or 2023 and it's going to be even bigger than 2022, with the hopeful purchase of land, finishing the tiny home, and planning a custom shop build on land. I will ALWAYS attend events and shows and also keep bringing you all tours with my style. For those that were wondering GHOST originally stood for Ground Home Operation Stealth Transportation. For my first two years of vanlife I was stealth parking on the streets of Los Angeles and NEVER got a door knock. A viewer commented that name for my van and I've used it since.

Took a massive trip from Boston to Denver with my Rivian R1T, then picked up Campworks Co. NS-1 teardrop and drove to McCall Idaho for Open Roads Fest. • I will have several videos going over all different types of everyone’s questions. The range, how was it driving the R1T long range, charging the R1T cross country, towing capability, range loss when towing, full electric camping, review of the NS-1, cost of charging, and much more answered for everyone that wants to know. I was NOT paid by any of these companies and I paid for my own charging. I try and keep everything I do as authentic and real as possible. I’m still in the middle of this trip so videos to come late this month/early next month. I’m excited to share with everyone ☺️

Announcement: I have recently teamed up with Hart Tools. This has been a DREAM of mine for many years to be working with a tool company. So, why Hart? Many reasons, but they are geared towards to the DIY crowd and I personally try and help as many as possible believe enough in themselves to build anything their "Hart" desires. On Thursday I was brought to their headquarters to get a tour of the facilty and they also had an event called the Be Free Event (gas free, cord free, struggle free). This event also unveiled their newest product which is a battery powered riding lawnmower! The video is coming soon of my trip and the event which they showed their whole outdoor line up from their 20v and 40v products. So why did I want to attended the outdoor product event? First, I love working with Hart as they have a lot of the same visions I do. Second, as some of you might know I've been working towards "GHOST Town" which will be a space for DIYers to come create and have a great time. My hopes is to also have this property be completely self sufficient. This will take a couple years but everyone here will see what it takes from start to finish. I intend to have a full shop space for van building and other DIY projects, entertaining activities, van/RV parking, tiny homes, etc. My personal tiny home that I'm starting in June will be the first piece to this puzzle. #DoitwithHart https://www.harttools.com/be-free?utm_source=affiliate&utm_medium=opeevent&utm_campaign=jarrodtocci

For anyone that has or has had a puppy might understand this. When I picked up Glacier I was overly excited, but also nervous because I knew my life would change. You can prepare to give your dog everything possible but nothing can mentally prepare you for the first month of ups and downs with a 8-12 week old puppy. Lots of trial and error and figuring out what works for the both of you. She’s been teaching me patients! I’m transparent on channel and I’ll be the first to admit that I cried a few times in the first couple of weeks. Training a puppy and training a 2 year old rescue are extremely different (last dog was with my ex). The last couple weeks have been some of the most rewarding weeks ever. Glacier is doing so well as a 3 month old and when I tell others my training methods they are shocked, then they see how see is and then don’t question me at all. She is my everything and I know by how she looks at me I’m her everything. She will be in many videos as the years progress for both of us. Looking forward to doing my next project soon which looks like the tiny home I’m going to put on some land that I will build my own shop on that land. So many many things to come!!

I started mocking up more of my cabinet layout. Some things might still change but I needed to fit: 2 tanks (fresh and gray), diesel tank for heater, power system (extra room for more power), fridge, toilet, food storage area, clothing storage, general storage. One of the benefits of going with a platform/fixed bed is you get a ton of storage under bed. Also take into consideration when doing this step is where you'll be running wires for lights, water pump, or any other switches you'll have. You'll also need to think about plumbing and how that's all connected and how you'll be dumping your gray tank and also filling up your fresh tank. Lastly, when thinking about your cabinets it's important to know what finish you want to go with. For me I'm using baltic birch plywood because I want to see the end grain to have a nice clean look. The drawers will be inset to show the end grains and all cabinets fronts will be faced with black laminate (if that doesn't make sense, I'll be doing future videos). I try and read all comments for questions and I go live on Wednesdays around 4-6pm PST for Q&A, so make sure you hit the notification bell to be alerted when I do that.

Seeing how so many on my YouTube channel ask “why” I do things. Here you go… My goal and dream was to always have a van for long distance trips and a truck for short overnight or weekend camping trips. I'm now doing that. and watched several videos and this truck is perfect (for me). It’s built for adventure as well as a great daily driver. I recently had a Jeep Gladiator I made into a overland rig and I already miss it. I’m doing this one much different!! I already got the upgrade of the camp kitchen Rivian offers. What else will I do? Not sure and I have plenty of time because I’m not getting this for a while 😂 and yes I went with Forest green because that color is awesome! If they offered a brunt orange I would have went with that color.
