The Indiana Rural Health Association was founded in 1997 as a nonprofit corporation for the purpose of improving the health of all rural citizens in Indiana. Our mission is simple: we work to enhance the health and well-being of rural populations in Indiana through leadership, education, advocacy, collaboration, and resource development. The IRHA is proud to support and collaborate with rural healthcare professionals, facilities, and hospitals. Partnering with our members and rural communities to conduct research to learn more about the health status of healthcare delivery systems in rural Indiana is critical. We work hard to identify needs and provide resources and solutions for the challenges faced in rural Indiana.
