My name is Emily and I hope you’ll find my recipes and food related information useful! I created The Goldilocks Kitchen, an online food magazine (aka blog), in 2013. I write, research, photograph, and create all the food content you'll see in the hopes that I can be a help to others. I really love learning how different cooking techniques don’t just create incredible tasting dishes, but happy memories too. I want to pass that on to you. As for personal stuff, I'm originally from New Mexico. After graduating high school, I went off to college in Idaho as an Illustration major, and after a time, switched to studying Geology and received my bachelors degree in 2004. In 2008 I quit geology to devote myself full-time to my young family. The Goldilocks Kitchen started out as a fun way to share what I was learning about cooking with others and has continuously evolved to what it is today. I currently reside in Idaho.
