Day 2 of our epic Kauai adventure has been released!  Finally!  My apologies. Last few weeks have been a challenge with stomach flus and life!  

In this episode the girls and I join my aunt Carrie to kayak into the jungles of Kauai and hike out to Secret Falls. I know the Na Pali coast is grand and very popular (for good reason), but this adventure was by far my favorite while vacationing on the island! 

Last few weeks have been a whirlwind!  John graduated Sniper School and we are really proud of him!  I can’t go into many details but let’s just say it was a challenge. The girls and I continued to explore this beautiful island and I’m still working on a top things to do in Hawaii video. I’m sorry for being absent from YouTube for a few days!  

Tonight I’ll post our adventure to Chinamans Hat (Mokoli’i Island). I hope you all are having wonderful adventures of your own!  And thank you for your patience!

Sorry for the delay posting this week’s video!  We lost power for a few days. 

In the mean time we hope you all are doing well!  Hailey and I are celebrating our birthdays with a bit of tropical fun! 

Happy New Year everyone!!  I just wanted to say how grateful I am for all of you!  2023 was a kick-butt year!  Full of lows and highs but most of all we have enjoyed this community!  You keep us motivated to push past the small challenges and embrace the adventurous side of life! 🤙  Looking forward to 2024 with all of you! 

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  Sorry for the delay in getting this vlog out!  Right after Christmas, I came down with a pretty terrible cold 🤒  as a result Alex and Hailey filled in the narrative for me 🙏  

And so thankfully our Christmas vlog is live!  Happy New Year everyone!! 🌴🌸 

Happy Veterans Day!  Thank you to all of you and yours who have given it all for what they believe in!  We hope you have a wonderful day!  Time spent with family and friends and a chance to remember and reflect on a sacrifice made by a few! 

And yes, I changed our name… again… I’ll explain more but the YouTube algorithm is complicated. We have always been a family channel. And we will always still be pursuing our dreams! 

Can you believe a year ago this child was so afraid of the ocean that she would cry at the thought of getting wet?  Amazing what one year will do!  In this next episode, Hailey will show off just how far she has come! 

No video tonight!  I know I’ve been slow on posting videos the last two weeks. In the next video I’ll explain why. But first the girls and I are off on an off-island adventure with Grandma for the next few days. Can you guess where?

Last night was a little nerve-racking.  Originally I was going to be light-hearted about it when making this post, but it was pretty scary for those of us stationed on Schofield and also the locals living in Wahiawa.  Probably due to what happened in Lahaina last week.  I am just grateful for the firefighters and the 25th Aviation team that worked hard to prevent the fire from reaching any homes. I am also grateful there was little to no wind.  I can not even imagine what it must have been like last week in Lahaina.  My heart goes out to them!
