This is our story of how we sold our home on the Essex coast in England to buy 7 acres of land in a beautiful wee glen in the West Highlands of Scotland. We currently have no house, just a caravan, a ruinous stone byre, 5 sheep and 2 cats. We do however have permission to renovate the barn and to build our new home which we shall do ourselves as well as grow our own food and live as sustainable , deliberate and gentle lives as we can. No doubt there will be ups and down, victories and disappointments but it will be fun to share the adventures with whoever fancies coming along for the ride.
