This channel is for people interested in Owner-Built homes. There are many styles for people to build.

I advocate Owner-Built no matter what style or path you take.

My property is located inside Buckingham Park, along the shores of Clearlake, in Lake County, California. The property is just over 2 acres with 90 feet of waterfront in Horseshoe Bay and holds Riparian Rights for the water within Clearlake. I am using the lake water for the domestic water. Initially the shop will be placed inside the full walkout basement to build the home. Later I hope to build a detached shop. This is a small custom built dovetail log home. I'm building the log shell is in Morgan Hill, CA.
