Dick Scoppettone interviews music celebrities from the 60s including Tommy James and the Shondells, Connie Francis, Jay and the Americans, Rare Earth, the Classics IV, Vikki Carr, Dean Martin's daughter, the Surfaris, the Buckinghams, and more. Each interview runs about an hour and is strictly audio, no video.
In the 60s, Dick Scoppettone was the founder and lead singer for the pop group Harpers Bizarre who had a hit record with “Feelin’ Groovy.” After touring the US, he wrote a musical, Surferboy, about his teen years as a surfer in Santa Cruz, then penned his first novel, The Seven Duties of the Heart, about the Indians living in Yosemite Valley when the Whites discovered it in 1851.
He finished a second book, The Little Business Book – Five Steps to your First Million, and produced a podcast series of 31 one-hour interviews for iTunes with musical stars from the 60s. He lives with his wife, MiMi, in Scotts Valley. You can visit his website at www.callmeonthursday.com.
