Losing 4 out of your last 5 after going on a 6 game winning streak is the exact type of inconsistency that has plagued this team for years. Won’t cut if we want to make the playoffs. Can’t get home soon enough, that should help.

Forsberg also hasn’t allowed less than 3 goals in a start since Nov. 2nd.

Ottawa remains in a playoff spot, albeit barely.  #GoSensGo .

Leevi Merilainen continues to impress. He was easily our best player tonight. His NHL stock is rising.

Nice to see Ridly Greig on a tear as of late, 3 goals in 3 straight.

Tim Stützle dominated with three points, Adam Gaudette continues to prove he’s the best goal scorer in the league with two tucks (including the late GWG!), and Linus Ullmark saved the day as the  #Sens  commit grand larceny by escaping San Jose with the TWO points!

Ottawa improves to 10-11-1 on the year…this game makes up for that Philly game easily.

Keep Gaud on that first line. He’s got such good chemistry with Timmy. Boy did that line cook last night.

It’s pretty crazy how both of Ottawa’s last two goals were separated by two periods but came back to back. It was just one of those nights I guess. Absolutely insane that we got the W, which by the way was historic for Ottawa as it ties a franchise record for least amount of shots in a win.

Let’s see if the boys can keep the momentum going and turn this into a winning streak against the Kings on Saturday!  #GOSENSGO  !! 

#Sens  drop back to .500 at 8-8-1 on the year.

We put the asterisk because, frankly, the final score doesn’t reflect the actual outcome of the game. Ottawa got robbed by the refs. 

But guess what? It doesn’t matter ultimately. We gotta find ways to win no matter what is thrown at us.

Too little too late.

Not that the cardiac  #Sens  deserved the win today but dropping that one after that push late in the third stings, especially after the collapse on Friday. That’s four potential points left on the table.

What a disaster. Total collapse. Embarrassing and shocking considering how the  #Sens  have played all year so far. What a shame, solid 55 minutes erased because of a crappy final few. Thoughts on the game?
