I can still remember going to my uncle George (cobb) Archer for my first rabbit hunt. I was 8 years old.We went to the old Archer home place and farm. When I watched his pair of beagles jump that first rabbit it put something in my blood thats still there today! That was 32 years ago and to hear beagles run a rabbit is still my greatest passion today! That old homeplace is gone, that old farm is Iron Mountain Horse Camp , but the love for beagles still lives in me! I have 3 boys and this is the youngest, Jase at 1 year old with Cash 3 months old, and i hope they carry on the tradition " let the dogs runnem ".
