Today’s Scripture:
“Whoever is slow to anger is better than 
the mighty, and he 
who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.”

Today’s Word:
Family, God created 
us as emotional beings, designed to experience the full spectrum of feelings joy, passion, love, 
and excitement, 
but also sorrow, disappointment, and frustration. Emotions are part of being human. But here’s the key: while we may feel emotions, we must never let emotions rule us. Feelings come and go, but they don’t determine truth.

You might wake up feeling discouraged or weighed down, but that doesn’t have to define your day. Just because you feel overlooked, unappreciated, or frustrated doesn’t mean those feelings reflect reality. Feelings are temporary and unreliable. They can change in a moment a kind word, a worship song, or even a simple shift in perspective can transform how you feel.

The mistake many people make is allowing fleeting emotions to set the tone for their entire day. You feel the blahs and walk around defeated. You feel offended and carry bitterness in your heart. You experience disappointment and fall into self-pity. But remember, you are not your feelings. God didn’t create you to be a slave to your emotions. He created you to rule over them.

You may not be able 
to stop negative feelings from rising up, but you can stop them from controlling your thoughts, your words, and your actions. When those feelings try to take over, you have a choice. You can say, “No, feelings. You don’t get to decide my mood. I’m choosing joy, peace, and hope.”

The secret is to fill your mind with the right thoughts, thoughts of gratitude, faith, and God’s promises. When you align your thoughts with His Word, your feelings will follow. Don’t let temporary emotions rob you of lasting peace. Rule 
your feelings, and 
you’ll rule your life.

Prayer for Today:
thank You 
for the power You’ve given me to take control of my emotions and not let them dictate my life. Help me to stay anchored in Your Word and choose peace, joy, and hope, no matter what comes my way. 
I refuse to live defeated or discouraged by what I feel in the moment. 
I declare that I will 
rule over my feelings and keep my mind focused on Your truth.

Today’s Word:**

God revealed to people His detailed, long-term plan for His creation—a plan that would unfold over hundreds of years. When Black people finally emerged from slavery without direction, it wasn’t a sudden blessing or a random event. It was the fulfillment of a divine plan that God had set in motion long before they witnessed its realization. He knew they would face hardship and injustice, but He also knew the exact moment He would deliver them and lead them into their purpose and meaning. 

The same is true for your life. While it’s easy to become caught up in the worries of today or to feel anxious about the future, remember that God’s plan for you has been in motion for generations. Long before you were born, God was aligning everything you would need—from opportunities to relationships, breakthroughs to divine favor. The challenges you face today do not catch Him off guard. He isn’t figuring it out as He goes. The answers, solutions, and blessings are already on their way. You’re not waiting for God to start working; He’s been working behind the scenes for years to guide you into your destiny.

When you trust in God’s plan, you can walk in peace. What may seem delayed is actually right on time; what feels like a setback is part of a divine setup. God’s plan is not just for today, but for your entire life and beyond. Stay in faith, keep your heart open, and trust that everything is already arranged. All we need to do is recognize the missing COMPONENT: "UNITY."

**Prayer for Today:**

Thank You for Your faithfulness throughout the generations. Thank You that You’ve been working on our behalf long before we even knew we needed it. Help us to trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that You are aligning the right people, opportunities, and solutions to fulfill our purpose. Even when we face delays or difficulties, we know that You have already planned our breakthrough. We choose to rest in Your peace and stand in faith. Amen. 🙏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾
