IO Interactive has announced that the release of Hitman World of Assassination for PlayStation VR2 has been delayed to March 27, 2025, from its original December 2024 release. The studio decided to take extra time to polish the game, especially after the positive reception the initial announcement received. This delay will allow the team to refine the gameplay and add exciting new features, including dual-wielding, full ambidexterity, room-scale VR, and active reloading. These additions are designed to elevate the immersive experience for players taking on the role of Agent 47. The goal is to ensure that the PS VR2 version meets the high standards fans have been expecting for a long time.
