For over two decades, the Frida Community Organization (FCO) has been dedicated to enhancing our community by providing essential services and resources that improve the quality of life for families and schools, while also promoting greater community involvement.

Established in August 2002, FCO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on empowering students, parents, and the broader community, with a special emphasis on Latinos and Hispanics.

We began in Pilsen, a lively and culturally rich neighborhood, which served as our launch point. Over time, we have expanded our reach to serve communities throughout Chicago and its suburbs.

Our most significant partnership has been with the Chicago Public Schools. This, along with financial backing from various levels of government, foundations, schools, and private entities, has enabled us to offer top-notch services to families across Illinois.
