When Christians claim to know what atheists "really believe," they're undermining their own position. After all, if we can only truly know the content of our own thoughts, false mind-reading doesn't make for very compelling evangelism. 

From a strongest-possible-evidence perspective, Jesus would have just stayed on earth, living for thousands of years for each generation to get to know. 

So, I started reading a new book this afternoon... 

By definition, EVERY naturalistic explanation for Christianity’s origins contradicts the Bible—because the Bible explicitly narrates supernatural events. If your only objection is "but that’s not what the Bible says," you’re not doing history. You’re just preaching. 🤦‍♂️

Exactly what moral principle is an atheist allegedly borrowing from Christianity that doesn’t ultimately pre-date Judaism in the form of general empathy?
