Our iconic name, Bertram, comes from our founder Dick Bertram – famous sail and powerboat racer – who built the first Bertram, a 31-foot Moppie, renowned for its deep-v hull design and superior seakeeping ability in unforgiving conditions. Since the 1960s, Bertram has created a prestigious reputation by building sportfishing boats known worldwide for their excellent ride and build quality. These deep-v hull designs have set the foundation for future generations of award-winning vessels.
