After confirming that the group of bucks we ended season hunting had shed in the middle of January, we figured it was worth the walk with cloud cover forecasted. 

The sun shined, glares were strong, and we found 0 antlers! On the flip side, 4 miles of where the antlers are not was also accomplished thanks to help from Rye Ludwig. Until the next time!

As promised, the Arctic blast finally arrived in Iowa jumpstarting some great hunting. Down to the second to last day of Iowa’s deer season, things finally came together for Rye Ludwig. With a streak of punching the final tag of the season for the team now running two years strong, we couldn’t be happier for him.

Rolling into 2024, big plans were in front of Justin Karns & Drake Lamb starting right away in the spring. Between working on expanding their habitat/land consulting business Vitality Visions, improving their different permission properties, and working on Justin’s home dirt… ‘24 was full of trying to earn an opportunity at an Iowa giant. 

Like all seasons seem to turn into, what followed next is nothing short of a rollercoaster ride that ended on January 7th.

A whole lot of hunting with great friends and family is what this week's video is all about! Kicking us off this week, Drake Lamb walks us through a season recap on how he and Justin Karns made out hunting the last few months. They've seen some great bucks and looking ahead Drake also walks us through what can be expected going into the late season. 

Next up is the ice storm magnum taken by Xander Reed with papa Michael Reed by his side. A historically productive spot paired with a major ice event saw Xander make a perfect shot paired with a soundbite of the year... "Gotcha."

Rounding the video out, Kaleb Greiner & Casey Murrey take us down an action packed look Casey's season. From giving it all she had with the bow to the 2nd shotgun season, the bucks are big and the smiles are bigger.

The 2024 hunting season continues to deliver memory after memory for the team. After hunting her tail off all fall with the  ‪@hoytarcheryofficial‬  Eclipse in hand and having close call after close call, it was time to switch gears with a new tag for Casey. Arrive second shotgun season and the duo had a hunt to remember in Iowa. One perfect shot and Casey and Kaleb found themselves smiling in the field before the sun set. This hunt and Xander's coming to the channel on Monday!

What’s your thoughts on euro mounts? Love em or hate em? 

Recently Mike picked up two euro mounts that made for an excited Reed family household when he got home! The first one is Bellas’s first buck/deer with her bow and the second is Brynn’s from the other day.
