We’re the Grimes family – welcome to our homestead! For us homesteading is all about enjoying farm life, striving to be more self-sufficient, and being good stewards of this plot of land we’re blessed to call ours. We keep a garden, raise animals for meat and dairy, fix things when they break, and build what we need to make our lives better. Homesteading is challenging and we are far from experts. We make mistakes but we have a passion for learning and trying new things – it’s how we grow! We have a lot of fun around here, too, and the kids love living the country life where they can hoot and holler as loud as they want, play in the dirt, and help out with the chores. We do a lot on this little homestead, but most importantly we’re raising them to have a deep appreciation for all of God’s Creation.
