Sew! After wrestling with this Phaff Sewing Machine all day, I finally got it firing on all cylinders!! This sewing machine definitely needed help but it’s coming back to life. When I opened the top of the machine, I discovered rust and neglect! This machine was flooded or completely submerged in water because it had massive amounts of rust. After much TLC this machine is definitely another victory here in The House of Sewing 🤠

Sew, this beautiful Sears Kenmore Sewing Machine is a bit of a mystery. It’s not a full sized sewing machine, but it’s also a little bit bigger than a mini sewing machine. Today, I found this at my local Goodwill with its case and almost everything. The machine is solid metal and it has few plastic parts, so the mystery continues. Regardless, this is another beautiful addition to The House of Sewing 🤠

Sew, this evening I decided to purchase another Brother Serger. It’s been a while since I’ve have a working serger here in The House of Sewing, but I now know that this machine wasn’t made to sew leather. Hopefully this serger will survive the day to day sewing that goes on here, regardless I’m definitely calling this another victory here in The House of Sewing 🤠

Sew! Yesterday I purchased this rustic Riccar Sewing Machine!!! The box is completely duct taped on one side and at first I thought this machine would need a complete overhaul. To my surprise with a little bit of sewing machine oil, it fired right up. I’ve been sewing with this avocado green sewing machine all afternoon and it’s an absolute beast! I’ve been repairing old jeans and this sewing machine is another beautiful addition to the fleet 🤘🏾🤠🤘🏾
