This isn’t about being pushy—it’s about giving your supporters the opportunity to do even more for the cause they already care about. Often, donors don’t realize how impactful an additional contribution could be until you connect the dots for them.

How to Make the Ask:
1️⃣ Be Specific: Explain how an increased gift will drive more impact—e.g., ‘An extra $10 could feed two more families this month.’
2️⃣ Show Gratitude First: Always thank them for their current support before asking for more.
3️⃣ Offer a Meaningful Upgrade: Suggest options like joining a recurring giving program or moving to a higher giving tier.

The truth is, people want to make a difference—they just need the right invitation. So, don’t hesitate to ask; you might be surprised by the generosity it unlocks.
