We are a veteran-owned company that operates shipping container farms in Pittsburg, Kansas. We grow high-quality, organic leafy greens year-round using hydroponic technologies. Our farms are highly efficient because of the controlled climate which allows each to produce more than 500 heads of lettuce per week using only 10 gallons of water a day (98% less than traditional farming)! We are currently working to increase the health and wellness of our state by donating our harvests to local food pantries and placing these farms at Kansas high schools. Participating schools benefit from: - modern, unique, and hands-on application of curriculum for classes such as plant sciences, agriculture, business, FACS, and more - access to fresh, organic, and nutritious food - reduced school costs by including produce in the cafeteria - income through community sales such as at farmer's markets or directly to restaurants
