I love this picture. It’s left over ( unsold) flowers in a simple vase…. No particular attention paid to arranging them, however the afternoon light made them shine! No filter.

The beauty of Rudbeckia! These North American natives come in beautiful hues of orange, red, browns and yellow… normally not a popular colour combination, but I LOVE them. They are unlike any other flower colours and they are hardy! These beauties overwintered, with the original plants grown by seed.

Dried flower sparkle for Christmas. Whilst fresh flowers are still abundant, dried flowers still have their place.

Did you see my video on growing Peonies in Australia? Well this is an update! At the end of the video I talk about germinating some peonies from seed purchased at Gate forth Peonies in Tasmania, and I’m excited to say, after care fully following their instructions I have had some success! Now all I have to do is carefully nurture these babies for the next 2 years 😅.

The frost was like a dusting of icing sugar on the flowers this morning, so peaceful and beautiful.

A small frost, -3 degrees centigrade to welcome us into winter weather. The Billy buttons don’t mind though!
