Today's Green Ridge 177 survey is complete, and it was an awesome day! This video will be over an hour long and run in "near realtime." What I mean by that is when I hit record on the gopro, it's included in the video. usually I cut out fluff etc, but for the essence of showing what this trail's condition currently is I'll let it run as-is! Hopefully I can get it out tomorrow. I'm tired and need to get some voiceover done in the silent drone sections! WHAT A DAY!

Have an opportunity to go drive Green Ridge 177 (currently closed due to the Cameron Peak Fire) with the USFS soon! Do you want me to take camera gear along and get some ground/drone footage to show you what the conditions are like up there? Eyeing next weekend....

who's on team skinny tire on their daily driver/offroad rig? skinny offers tremendous benefits on clearances, flex over certain objects, wide offers traditionally better floatation in the deep wet snow. images are snippets from "Tinkerer's Adventure" on youtube, he does a fantastic breakdown of the advantages and disadvantages.

It's been a hot minute since an offroading video was published, but just know I'm still here. My "busy season" for work is ending here this week, and I just got my Muley Buck yesterday evening with a good buddy. The bronco is going into the dealership early December for a nit picky short list of warranty things, and I'm hopeful to have my 1 year ownership video done here in the vicinity of Veteran's Day. Thanks all!

after getting a "fuelwood" permit from the forest service, I did some firewood gathering today and basically brought home 3/4 cord of wood. the dew point is insane in colorado today, like 60s and almost 70, so it feels absolutely miserable. we usually have a dry heat. bronco hardly knew that trailer was back there! and it looks like my license plate self clearanced on that trail lol. might be time for a springover kit.

I'm curious what your thoughts are on offroading heavy duty trucks. If you only had two choices, and you were stuck between the Ram Power Wagon (gasser) and a Ford Superduty (Diesel) what would you pick?

no video today as it wouldn't have been very interesting, but we did drive both pierson and johnny park trails to do the pre-opening sweeps and tree clearing with the FS tagging along! Trails should be opening next month!!
