There were a lot of special things that occurred on today, February 25, so I call it "Gem Day".

On Gem Day 2022, we found lots of new ball drops, including NBC 1965 and 1972 (n65, n72), ABC 1967, 1968, 1969, and 1970 (a67, a68, a69, a70), and CBS 1973 (c73).
On Gem Day 2023, I made the first version of the 2016 remake.
On Gem Day 2024, a world record in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe surpassed 1,000 days old.
Today is Gem Day 2025. 

We did it, mates. We got to 50,000.

In wrestling, the term "pop" is used as a slang for a crowd's reaction to an event. Should the Ball Drop Community use this term?
