Research and innovation projects funded by the European Union: IMPRODOVA, a collaborative effort spanning eight countries, aimed to address High Impact Domestic Violence (DV) through comprehensive empirical research. It focused on understanding and improving responses to DV by frontline responders such as police, medical, and social work professionals in European countries. (2018–2021) IMPROVE aims to strengthen the battle against domestic violence through the development of tools to enhance reporting and detection. It empowers survivors to understand their rights and assists police, civil society organizations, and frontline responders in implementing innovative solutions to expedite policy implementation. (2022–2025) VIPROM provides frontline responders from the health care sector with training opportunities and medical educators in different European countries and different medical institutions with the capacity to implement the curricula developed in VIPROM.
