See you at Wick Green in 2024 The campaign to save Wick Green 🌳and protect Wickford’s Parks and public open spaces & STOP 🛑 Basildon Council building on Public Spaces 🏞and play areas! Wickford has the least protected land in the Basildon Borough. Basildon Council proposes to build on Wick Green, Gibraltar Walk a quiet green space and wildlife haven. A footpath crosses Wick Green and leads to a footbridge crossing over the main road 🛣️,a railway line 🚝 and a river 🏞️ It is the only safe pedestrian route for Wick residents to the town centre. Wickford SoS (Save Open Space) is the campaign to Save Wick Green, protect wildlife and preserve residents quality of life.
