Join me as I retrace Civil War history one person, place & event at a time. I'll also be including travel tips, book, tv show & movie reviews, and more as time goes on. My obsession with Civil War history began in 1979 at the age of 2 years and 10 months old, sparked by a visit to the Lincoln Home National Historic Site, and the Lincoln Tomb, in Springfield, Illinois. Yes, it can begin that young! I hope that even if you're a novice when it comes to history, that my videos can bring a unique perspective that focuses on the people instead of the strategies & tactics of battles (which I will leave to people much more brilliant than myself!). This is a Civil War fan site, and has been inspired by my travels to historical sites across the U.S. I am not paid by any place that I showcase, and in most cases they have no idea I've decided to do a video on them until it's posted!
